SEA Homeschoolers Teen Book Club

Michelle runs the SEA Homeschoolers Teen Book Club. The SEA Teen Book Club reads a book a month. Right now, we’re focusing on groupings of books that combine either non-fiction and fiction titles or classics with more contemporary choices. The Island of Dr. Moreau, The Madman’s Daughter, and Soul of an Octopus combine to help us examine human’s responsibility to nature. The Fire Next Time and The Hate U Give together provide a look at race in America that spans decades. Each month, participants receive links and discussion ideas in a private Facebook group. At the end of each month, we meet in a live video session to talk about the book and dig deeper into its themes.
