Product Description

The Illustrated Alphabet of Bugs: Your little one will enjoy the rhymes and specially crafted illustrations–all the while learning fascinating facts about bugs!

This book features a mix of bugs, familiar and unusual, to intrigue children of all ages. Each illustration of a bug is accompanied by a poem that teaches science while delighting the listener with rhythm and rhyme.

Great alphabet and lesson for children. I liked the poetic language that went along with the pictures. Not only were the picture accurate, but they also showed children examples of insects that they might no otherwise be aware of. Some of them I had never heard of, but was glad to learn about them. The text used just enough words to describe the main characteristics of each bug. Any child should enjoy reading or having this book read to them. Good education for adults, too.

Whether you like beetles, moths or mites, this alphabet book is a true delight! Between the colorful illustrations and the whimsical rhyming pattern, this book is a true delight to help children learn their letters as well as learn more about some common as well as exotic insects.
